Err... just now, the 50 recent section was doing something strange, Instead of the most recent 50.... there were submission with ID's going back to 120000.. Has anybody noticed this?

Have you considered locking down the Portal temporarily? I believe letting new submissions build up can add fuel to the fire.

umm ok i think i just found another error.....i have been getting the weekly top 5 or 10,but is it a new thing to send it in the middle of the week? i got 2 of em dated 1/12/04 and 1/13/04.....im all for it if its a new feature but i usually dont get 2 daily ones......im really confused....ive never gotten the daily ones emailed to me......ouch headache....oh well if it is a new thing dont worry i likes it.

There are two types of mailing: daily and weekly. The weekly mailing goes out on a Wednesday morning when the Portal week ends and the daily mail goes out... Daily. :) There were problems with the daily mail running, but those seem to have been corrected now for the majority of users and are going back out again. If you don't want to receive one or the other or both, log into your account, click "edit personal profile", and uncheck the mail options you don't want to be receiving any longer.

This has been going on for months. It is to get them over 200 votes, so any movies under 200 votes will be brought to the recent 50 to get them quicker since more people look at the portal index than the templist.

Whats with everything screwing up. I've gotten about 15 errors today, whch is less than yesterday, but it's still crazy. I hope you guys fix the problem soon.

Yeah, I do that all the time, but sometimes I forget to and it really pisses me off. :'(

Ive been getting errors here and there. I got about 5 of them when I first got here a few minutes ago, so its still there.

It has nothin to do with flash, but you need to update the FAQ on the e-mail i think...i forget

I could clarify by saying that it used to be quite rigidly confined to only movies very close (194 or 195 usually) to 200 votes, which then gave them a quick bump to slip 'em off the list fast, but now everything's become all compressed towards 200 votes, anyway.

Speaking of which, I'll probably pass out soon, so... I hope I don't miss the list getting finished, but I have a feeling it'll at LEAST wait until tomorrow evening. #;-}>

Surprisingly, I don't get errors at around 12:00am like I used to. That used to be one of the most error-filled times for me for about 5-10 minutes, but I got few if any last night around then.

I just noticed something odd. I tried to log on, and the menu bar (Sign-In, Join, NG, portal, games... the one with pictures) started moving around. I had to keep trying to get an error message so it would stop moving and I could log in. Has anyone else noticed this?

i didnt see anything wrong so if there was a problem hope its fixed :)
