I have noticed several ads on this site. Although, when you consider the grandiose amount of movies, games and features that Newgrounds provides, you should think before biting.

I mean, if you don't like pop-ups, get a pop-up stopper (Like Panicware's). It's not like the funding for these ads requires them to be seen, they just have to be on the site, lol. I mean that guy was saying Tom should have less ads. If anything there should be more. I think you're doing a great job Tom. I mean I know that this site must have a lot of bandwith... I mean look at all the movies on here, that's got to add up to a few gigs or so. As far as bandwith goes that's a pretty good bit, especially considering you're not a business or something Tom, ur just one man with some help from a few friends here and there. (If you do have a big newgrounds corporate building forget what i just said, lol.)
Anyway, I like the idea of the new updates. It sounds good; I can't wait for 'em. One suggestion I have though, that I haven't seen anything said about, is to allow the portal entries, like if you go down there and click on "view them all" to be sorted by Views, not votes. That way I would know which movies are still under judgement... and i might be able to get some blam and protection points. I mean, there are movies that were submitted at like 9:30, which was a bit over 2 hours ago, and they've already been viewed 200 times or whatever. I was just like... ok... WTF? How do these people get 60 points a day? lol. Anyway, sorry this is lengthy. I'll shut up.

1. Go to mozilla.org.
2, Download a new version of the co0l browser.
3. Make a profile on Mozilla.
4. Use this to surf NG. Cuz Internet Explorer eats shit infront of it :P
Common users take only these steps. Others having the popup and ads problem continue ...
5. On front page of NG right click on the Sports by Brooks add click on Block Images from this server. Then do the same with the porn ads.
6. And then start Loving NG :P
Some of Benefits of it:

I use SlimBrowser(flashpeak.com) for hotmail and other surfing, cuz it uses da same engine as IE buit is faster and smarter :)

Okay, I've only just signed up here, but I feel I should put my two cents in nonetheless since I've been visiting this site for quite a while. To the guy who made the above complaint: Your truly are a thoughtless, ungrateful moron. Firstly, your comments about amazon "milking users for money" is just bu!!sh!t. I think if you actually went to amazon and reviewed their partnership policies - something you would have OBVIOUSLY done before making such a wild allegation, right? - you'd find the owner of this site will receive nothing whatsoever for any of the purchases donated to contributors to the site. And please, no one wants to hear your whining... so you never mentioned the "constant errors on the forum", and you "didnt say a word about "the times I spent trying to get a movie to load" . . . are we supposed to be impressed? No one is forcing you to come to this website, so you shut up and put up with how its fun, and if you can't handle that, just don't come back. Its that simple. Tell you what. When you've managed to create a site as enourmous and as popular as Newgrounds, offering people a place to host, view and review flash games and movies FOR FREE, with minimal amounts of advertising that would surely only just manage to cover the costs of hosting and maintaining the website and its files, meaning for all the time and effort you put into your site, you are getting virtually NOTHING out of it, save for the satisfaction of being able to provide a free, top-notch service for your dedicated members. Well done Mr. Tom. I think that was a very good way to respond to that comment. I know when you first saw it you were probably thining off a hundred witty comebaks to shoot this user down, I know I would have. But by not lowering yourself to the language he used shows maturity and prfoessinalism. I would like to see how well the site would work if he tryed to run it.
As far as I know NG is totally run by Donations/Ad Support so I dont think anyone can complain about shit. Of course it sucks when stuff dosent load and the pop ups are horrible but its your choice to visit NG and if you dont like it why not just A. Leave or B. Shoot yourself. It may help you in either way.

I recently got my first piece of genuine hate (e-)mail, so I know how it feels. There were further similarities too, as the hate-mail I recieved was also due to the sender's own stupidity (lack of understanding).
What helped give me the confidence to have a genuine laugh at him were the few supportive mails I'd recieved.
Obviously, there are massive differences, but I assume the emotions would remain the same.
Rest assured that there is a sizable proportion of NG that does really appreciate all your efforts and the fact that this website even exists. (It's what made me realise Flash was a truly excellent thing.)
I'm sure you already know that though, so I suppose I'm just making my own voice part of that of the masses.
