I should just have a weird habit of just randomly plastering my name on all my models from now on :P
I dont feel like typing it again...
copy-pasta away!
Looks great man, but, I feel the reflection is too strong on the side of the car, or atleast it would start strong on the bottom and fade to transparent.. Its also in the wrong place in some parts, like above the shoulder line of the car, shouldnt be there, that should just be a highlight. And on the rear quarter panel and fender, sbove the shoulder line, should be a highlight, not the ground pattern.
ref pic to back me up lol

I could do it myself, if I may :P

That car seems to have a dusty paint job though.
Sorry about not being in this thread Kensei, I've been busy over the past week and have hardly came to NG.
Wish I knew you were doing something so intense, I would of been critn' you all the way. Hehe. :P Next time show us from the super basics, from practically nothing, and all the way up to final model. This way we can pick out all the little details that would make your car super sharp. You have loads of talent for someone who's picked it up on their own, and I would love to see you excel in it.
I say, right now, drop the background, entirely and go for a showroom render. Make the glass Jet black if you have no interior, and get them to reflect. Position your camera lower, I know you took time modelling the back, top etc but a top down view like you are on a ladder will never really sell your project. You may find that it's your lighting that needs attention first, and then tweak your surfaces to work with that lighting. Use global illumination (radiosity) as a help to bounce light but not as a dependant, so your car lighting should look good before that.

Some fooling around in illustrator.
I am trying to really get a pretty strong handle on the program.
and to think I used to hate the damn thing.
So her is just a mock logo for kicks, not much detail though.

It's Christmas, don't beat yourself up about it ;)
I get it's a leaf and a dragon, but only by reading the text, which isn't a particularly good thing.
It needs to be recognizable and clear the moment you lay your eyes on it.
It also needs to fit snugly in a predetermined shape. Coca-Cola's logo for instance fits perfectly in a rectangle
Logos often have the company/organization's colour scheme as well, so that's something to take into account as well.

Could always be reserved for the Photoshop pass.
No harm in doing that with stills.

Haven't dumped anything in here since Christmas, so since I spent the day watching movies, I worked on this slowly :P
"Saints and Solders" was a nice movie, I liked it.
So yeah.....Thread update.
I was bored, so I started messing around with the reactor
it's not long, but I was afraid my computer would't handle much more than this
it's like a lame horse, I should just put it down :(

That better be mead in those glasses and bottle. Nothing should be served in a stone chalice unless it's mead.

Well the robotic dog kind of falls under the animal category
but I'm really not that good at people though
guess I should practice though, huh?

Try a face, they are kinda blocky realistically, they have planes that should be easy enough to model

But just so you know I'm not talking out of me ass

I might do that
lol when I sober up. thanks for the Idea
Last human model I did went pretty well , but I messed up the biceps pretty badly.
guess it is really all practice.
I wasn't satisfied with the face either, although modeling and rigging wise it was fine, but to my personal preference, it didn't look like I wanted it to.
