well, It finally looks like I'm finally making my own Art Thread. In all truth this is probably suicidal wo what little and fragile self esteem I have. But eh, I figure I should get back to putting my work out their and seeing what other think of it.

It's been a while since I've really tried to put a lot of my stuff on the net at once.

indeed, the middle torso is one of my weaknesses when it comes to characters.

on this next one, sorry for the size, you really can't see the stomach so I guess it's not a problem, but on the flip side her breast are a bit awkward , also the face, well their jsut isn't much to it, the nose is wrong and their is just nothing about the face thats says "Look at me!!!" but I like the pose, I'll have to play with it some more

and a third one for good measure,

For some reason I kept messing up on his Left hand, I just couldn't get it right. So I opted to cover it with flames. I'll have to go back one of these days and fix it so it looks as if hes actually grasping the flame.
Second major problem is the leg stance isn't that strong, it doesn't match the power portrayed of the upper body, causing the composition to fumble.

for those that dont know family guy, this joke won't even give you a giggle..

These are some pretty good pieces here. Try to finish some of them off, like removing the sketch lines and body frame. Very nice, keep it up.

I might get that far, but mostly I just sketch, or I'm too lazy lol
I'm not that good at inking and I favor coloring by hand over photoshop, so I rarely actually finish peices like this. besides theirs are from my small carry around sketch book.
stuff in my big hardback book I usually finish lol

ok here is a completed one from my Hardback book
I was in a art club at a comic book shop about 2 years ago, and a us had weekly assignments to draw things of a certain theme, so I chose Will Eisner's Spirit

A drawing for a sculpture I was going to make, but it kind of got shoved to back burner lol

one requested by my younger cousin

This one was and drawn then scanned and colored in photoshop, like I said earlier, that was image suicide for me. I gotta pratice more in photoshop

your right, it's also a little chubby in comparison to the others too.

Here is a little fun I had with my Shelby I modeled, I just goggled for the back ground picture,so don'trip me for that. I just wanted if I could make a digital compost look decent.

I usually take more of my complete works and turn them in to portfolio quality, but then I don't post those on the net. kind of gives me some aces up the sleeves when it comes to job interviews and portfolio review

Nice work dude, I don't know about the 3d stuff, that isn't really my bag. It would have to be very good if you want me to like it (imo it is good, not good enough). The sketches are really good, especially like that comic-style pic you posted, nailed that. his shadow is a bit off though.
Other point of critique: on the one with the gun ("my first attempt with markers...") The gun hand seems to be slightly wrong. It should get smaller like it does, but maybe the arm should start a little bigger (near the torso), or maybe the angle of the gun is wrong.

As I said, nice work

yeah I agree, the gun is way off, their really isn't any perspective to it at all. but to be honest it really wasn't suppose to be anything at all, it started as a pen doodle that developed in t a colored drawing :P.
