Taking a dump could mean anything. Did you go to the recycling yard and dump rubbish? Did you get back from a shitty day at work and dump all your things and sit in front of the TV? Did you get dumped from relationship?
Details man. Details.

I'm going to guess you're were probably massively under-charging for your services. That or your client is just really generous.

I donated a 10kg log of shit to my toilet.

Probably both. I was charging $5 for the mixing (it was a quick job). I don't usually charge very much for it, especially when there's only two vocal tracks and about 2 minutes of singing.

Question: why do you need 7 mics? What are you planning to record?

Isn't this basically what Trent Reznor does/did? I remember reading somewhere they he sampled everything himself.
Do y'all get this "is this your email" thing at the top of your screen? I keep clicking "click here" but nothing happens and my email doesn't show up with anything.

I got it and I managed to click through fine. It's a legit Newgrounds issued check.
If it's not working for you, you might want to get in contact with @BrenTheMan if you haven't tried using an alternative browser to get through to the verification.
Oh right, the using another browser thing...I always forget about that. Well nevermind.
Great. Got all my new vocal crap set up yesterday and waited all day through a horrible day to use it only to have apathy and an inability to enjoy what I'm doing or let go and sing. Writers block too.
Also didn't have the greatest father's day.

I got it too, which reminded me I made a dedicated gmail account for my NG account some 4 years ago, which I of course haven't signed into in 4 years. Turns out I was invited to help judge musician of the year 2012, which wasn't something that was sent using the NG PM system for some reason.
I've now deleted that gmail account and just started using my main gmail account (which has 2 factor auth anyway) for it.

Fair enough.

When the fuck did we get ice cream!?
How would you guys feel if this happened to you?
You spend two years playing and writing music with two radical musicians.
Towards the end of that year, one of the musicians gets a paid gig to go on tour with a band that is touring Globally.
Said band is writing really terrible music, but it is a paid gig because the band is famous and has lots of money to steal members who you've formed a bond with, learned to read and improvise off of.
The touring band has designated members already. You are left out in the cold.
Would you feel anxious that this person may end up abandoning you? How would you feel if this situation were to occur to you? I am legitimately curious and would really really appreciate input from the AP at this time.
Thank you in advance, should you reply to this I will be reading each response intently. If you want some more elaboration, I would be happy to do my best to elaborate.

Wow! Impressive.
I haven't met anyone who actually has taken news like that so lightly. It's usually met with a slight undertone of jealousy, feelings of abandonment and a void of wasted time. Speaking honestly of course.

Of course many of us may have gone through feelings like this in our pasts. But as you get more mature, it becomes something that you DECIDE to feel like. So yeah, if something like this happened to me currently, the best thing for me ot do is wish him luck and of course, always leave the door open for them to come back whenever they'd like.

Yeah that is indeed the ideal situation. I wonder also, what I would do if this were to happen to me. If I was offered a payed, touring gig, and how my fellow band mates would feel if I basically left them, but it isn't something I've discussed directly yet.
This has been on mind mind since a few local bands have had their members plucked recently for bigger tours. I notice that they do leave their old projects behind. Some are able to find a fill in member while they are away so they can continue to gig and record at home while they are away, but one group has just dissolved, which is upsetting to a degree because the playing likewise has become diluted too (like going from Mozart to playing Old Mac Donald).
Another point to add is the idea of over-saturation of one instrument for a region. For example, everyone plays guitar, or bass (Nationally speaking). Everyone wants to play guitar. But, drummers are in higher demand over-all than guitarists and bassists. Solid keyboard players and horn players would probably rank above guitarists and drummers for being able to jump right into a tour as well.
So, this concept, to an extent has balanced my feelings on the subject. But, likewise I don't think people want to have their hard work go to waste.

I'd be pissed as shit. However, like everyone else has said, act professional and that's it.
If you start to get pissy and angry, that's just going to make them really leave you out in the cold.
