Well at least this guy thinks it is. It's a very well done review, wouldn't you agree?

I finally stopped giving a shit about what reviewers thought of a game after buying the abomination called Far Cry 2 due to all the "positive" reviews it was getting.
"nobody buys a game specifically for it's multiplayer options"
This guy is either a really good troll or a serious idiot.
Also, he complained the game was impossible on the harder difficulties yet me and everybody I knew not only beat it on all dificulties but also did the time trials to unlock all of the cheat options.
It was hard, but not THAT hard. Especially if you where like us and spent every waking moment after school in multiplayer matches. You get to be a pretty good shot after a while.
this guys just thinks he knows it all
think of your own oppinion
no ones buy a game specifically for multiplayer
FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-

Especially with Goldeneye. Such a large part of its appeal was in the multiplayer. I spent so much time in that Temple map. It's a shame Microsoft and Nintendo can't work out a deal to allow the Goldeneye port to Live Aracde. The game would be even more incredible with updated graphics, dual-analog controls, and online play. Still, Goldeneye is excellent if you can handle the controls.

I played it on an emulator, it was really shit. I always stand by my statement. "Games from movies suck ass."

That guy is a total idiot. Goldeneye 64 was and always will be a classic game. It was an amazing game.
The reviewer is either a troll or simply a moron.
Blocky character textures?
Welcome to 1997.
Shitty ending?
It's based on a movie.
Bungee jump scene?
OOH MULTIPLE CAMERA ANGLES. WHAT THE HECK.
Sniper rifle cant aim at alarms?
Use a different gun.
Also this made me lol so much.
Does this guy not realize he's eleven years too late?

I think that video was filmed 11 years ago.
How long have people been buying games just for multiplayers?
Yeah.

It was looking so good too. It's a damn shame Nintendo gave Microsoft a hard time releasing that game on XBLA.

Possible, looking at his review of Doom 1 on the Super NES, he refers to the N64 by it's prerelease code name (Ultra 64), explains the meaning of a M rating (ESRB was new back then), and talks about the FPS style presentation being an exciting new style he hopes to see more of in the future.
I mean, you gotta give this guy credit. If these really are old reviews, a lot of his notions and ideas were simply what people thought back then. He's not a horrible review, just an average one from a decade and a half ago.
Oh my dear Lord if this aint blatant plagarism that I do not know what it is........
What I mean is that this guy really is trying to be like the Angry Nintendo Gamer Nerd (forgot what is his proper name, but also uses Cinemassacre)
And this is a shite review - this game was the bomb back then - the graphics was top notch in those days and lets not forget.......
IT WAS A CATRIDGE GAME!!!
Someone correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't this game develop by a bunch of amateurs?
Pretty good game for a team with little experience. I may be wrong though.
Amatuers at that time??? You on drugs dear boy??? Do you remember a game that had the same graphics and gameplay as Goldeneye AT THE SAME TIME
Hardly any apart from Doom on the PC..... and thats thing FPS were mainly PC games back then and remain more so now - but I like FPS on BOTH consoles and PC...

Apart from the fact that this review was filmed about 10-12 years ago.

It was developed by Rare. The same company that made Perfect Dark, Donkey Kong Country, Banjo Kazooie, Jet Force Gemini, Diddy Kock Racing and Donkey Kong 64.
They are NOT Amateurs. They developed most of the good N64 games.
They're also British based :D

I agree.
I stopped listening to the critics after all the praise they gave Call of Duty 3. Perhaps, the most boring shooter on the 360 and PS3.

While it seems that the review isn't doing the game justice (judging from your reactions, haven't played it myself), I like how you guys ignore the fact that he did say it was an excellent game, despite it's flaws.
Goldeneye was one of the games of my childhood. It had everything. The soundtrack, the gadgets, the guns and an endless supply of bad guys to kill. I've got it on my laptop and I still can't get through the level with Baron Samedi and the golden gun without cheating.

Hmm, I believe this guy must be an excellent gamer, "Its impossible to beat it on a harder difficulty level". I lawled at the review for its shear stupidity. Even now I still hit up my N64 cause it has some damn good games on it and Golden Eye is a pretty good one, especially with multiplayer. Gotta hit up that OddJob
