God fucking dammit.

I thought the new game mechanics would encourage people to do just the opposite.

Well, that's what I get for holding out hope that RTS players actually use their fucking brains.

As I've said before, thats is what they expect will win. They are just performing the same tactic from there other strategy games. Thankfully many of these crap players will probably leave the BETA version and not buy the full game. THQ's loss is the community's gain I guess.

Also it doesn't unlock until Wednesday, I'm viewing this at 8:15pm GMT and it says "1 day and 4 hours remaining" Which is a shame.

Also are the Ork's any good? they look quite fun :)

The same old lame RTS tactic...build loads of everything and rush the enemy base...

Played the Beta today, it is quite good, though for some reason it causes my computer to crash (or cause a massive lag spike where nothing including ALT-F4 works, I didn't have the patience to find out). Its also annoying that most players just build walkers and send them into the middle of the battle, hoping they'll win.

The game is great but.... there is definitely balance issues. This should be expected though because it's a beta.

hah, they think they are playing campaign on easy mode...anyway, l'll ask for the last time, are you SURE that there will be a monthly fee to play multi?

It is awesome, and if you host a custom game you can make a single-player game (set everyone up as comp's apart from you). Though would of preferred it if heroes were better against vehicles, because only a specialist infantry type or other vehicles can destroy them. And as anyone who's ever played Warhammer 40,000 before should know, heroes can generally beat the crap out of a dreadnought if they have the right gear.

Also there are so many minor cases of lag, and in most games someone lags for a minute, and then the person who tries to kick the lagger gets kicked.

Also there IS NOT a monthly fee to play multi-player, why would they charge you to do that anyway? It'd be like charging for multiplayer in Red Alert 3.

Well, you try to destroy a huge, titanium-armored Hell Tank with a hammer and a pistol...

The person who tried to kick the lagger gets kicked?By whom?

1.Some games do it (like Phantasy Star Universe)

You are remembering that most commanders are basically super humans with big thunder hammers and a gun that shoots stuff the power of plasma. And the commander is flexible enough.

Phantasy Star Universe is not a strategy game, and I never said there was a monthly fee looking back through the posts, maybe you got mixed up with PAYING for the game?

Still, some commanders just aren't made to destroy armor...

No, cretainly not, what l meant was some games have single player for "free" but pay-per-month multi...and l am 100% sure you told me there was a fee..not on this thread but when we were chatting about the game on Steam.
