"300" the movie

Personally, I think this film looks like absolutely one of the manliest and badass films to come out recently. I've always wanted to see a movie about the Battle of Thermopylae ever since I saw a special on it on the History Channel when I was about 6. I even had an arguement with my 6th grade history teacher on how the battle went, because in our textbook it said that the Spartans were grieviously defeated, making it seem like they were slaughtered. I got pissed off and told her that the Spartans caused huge casualties and made a heroic stand. I've always admired their culture and I'm anxiously anticipating this film.

What are your thoughts on the movie? Do you think it will be good or bad, and why?
