To capture the spirit of a lion, you need the aggression, the heart, and the charisma. While I got the first two, it's difficult to capture the third. I'm happy with the way the song turned out, and I think it does a good job. I'd thought of the main lick a few months ago, and I did actually write a song for it. However, I chose to rewrite parts of it for the album. The breakdown was never present originally, but I think adding something alluding to the clean part was a really good choice. This is perhaps not my best bass work. It was very sloppy, but I actually kind of like it. Either way, hope you enjoy the song! :)
