I imagine a perfect scene for this song in my game.
Hi! I´m back to my noir jazz fumbling and made an ultra slow jazz waltz with 44bpm ;)
It´s a bit more going on than in my last noir jazz experiment "Treehouse" but it is still very slow and doomy. A lot of inspiration, when I do such stuff comes from Bohren & der Club of Gore.
First uploaded version was clipping. Fixed it.
My mix could likely be better but my headphone cable just broke.

I highly approve the dark atmosphere it creates!
EDIT: The siren at the beginning starts it off pretty well, and when you get further into the track, it begins to sound more like a broken bell, which is cool imo! Then you have the flute playing some dark notes that give the feeling that people got these days during quarantine: Sadness, Depression, and probably Loneliness! And of course you have more ambience elements adding more to that feeling, but I guess what I've already mentioned will do! Great waltz
Thanks a lot for the kind review!
Very nice! Reminds me of a mixture of Swans and the ambient/experimental tracks Bowie made with Eno during his Berlin era.
I think you've managed to create a lot of depth with a few well picked elements. The arrangement flows seamlessly. Nothing screams for attention, yet it never gets boring.
The mix feels even and nice, love the drums. Great dynamics, really serves the piece.
There's a little grime that really adds to the mood, can't really put my finger on it though.
Great job!
Hey! Glad you like it! To be honest I didn´t know Swans, yet. Just listened to some of their stuff and really like them. Like a mixture of Primus with Mike Oldfield. Thanks a lot for the tip!
I am no longer alone in my house. Thank you!
You´re welcome! I guess...
