"Winterlude" is track five of the Sky Wander EP, an electronic-orchestral story-based album conveying the journey of an ether explorer through the clouds.
Resting at the center of Sky Wander, "Winterlude" serves to personify the frostbitten hopelessness our protagonist experiences halfway through his adventure. Summoned from the sky wanderer's experience in "Plümmet," the seed of doubt within him blossoms in the frigid air of "Winterlude," taking its toll on our protagonist before he decides to continue laboring on.

I'm just way too glad I listened to this piece! At a loss for words right now... hold up
The intro definitely gives the "wintry-wonderland-icy-background" theme, but then the synths come in and wow it is just so good! Some parts of the song feel so full and vivid that it is basically impossible to put the feeling into words! Truly love this masterpiece!
