I am liking and favoriting this song and adding it to a playlist. Independently and without a prompt or reason other than the songs own merits. In all sincerity it is a very good song.
I almost fell asleep on one of my favorite Newgrounds holidays, happy Robot Day!
It's been a slow year for new music, mostly just passing out the moment I get home from work. 30 year old people need naps and stuff. I recently compiled a new album and tweaked a bunch of stuff for it. Go give 2Q4U a solid listen :)

There are some vocal samples from John Stewart's recent congressional monologue, some snippets from Love, Death & Robots, and one big shirtless Bert Kreischer. Don't tell the cops. I'm usually a little hesitant to divulge sample info but you guys know where I live at this point. Bite my shiny metal ass :3
Hope to see some cool robot flavored stuff today :D

I appreciate your sincerity that was in no way influenced by the actions other people made.

Wonderful job using the vocal snippets, they fit just perfectly, as usual.
Sorry i'm a couple days late... this song has been open in a tab for two days... just hitting send now. lol
love it :DD
"A couple of days late?" Why do you worry so much? I'm no where near as good at keeping up with people. I'm incredibly grateful for your continued listening MRM3, you're a peach <3
I've always understood a Reese bass to be a blanket term for a large range of dirty DNB synths. Generally just make a huge ass synth that sounds like shit, then slap a filter on it and modulate the living hell out of the filter knobs (frequency and resonance.)
I get additional tonal variety by automating things like the pitch wheel, octaves, distortion unit knobs... but at the core of the patch is usually two or three sawtooth oscillators. I'll use squarewaves sometimes for different tones. If you google "reese bass" you'll get a bunch of different tutorials that will highlight different ways to do the same thing. It's less of a science and more like synthesis porn. Just experiment and have fun. A friend of mine once mentioned making a reese bass from a bunch of bass kicks under distortion written really close together on the midi. They got a full tone from it :)
play play play play play
Sounds very gritty and robotic! I like it! Happy Robot Day!
