Just Wowwwwww!!!!!
NGUAC finals submission
This time I do come up with something really risky. While I would tend to go for an orchestral piece again (which obviously seems to be my current strength), I decided against doing that. I already managed to convince you with it, which gave me the feeling that you judges do expect something special for the final round. So there we go!
After thinking about it thoroughly, I got the idea. Since nowadays I tend to compose acoustic music (without electronical elements), I decided to try out something completely new to myself, which is traditional music of different cultures.
I have chosen cultures that personally very interested me and differ from each other. I tried my best to merge four different cultures' music into one soundtrack.
The cultures would be the following: African, Oriental, Asian and Celtic.
Every culture got their own part within the soundtrack. Because I didn't intend to compose something eternally long, I decided to let every culture have its turn for around 1:20-1:30 of time. All cultures then merge together at the end of the track. I wanted to give you an idea of what it would sound like if everything gets together and play something along their traditional instruments.
Here is the rather long list of played instruments you can hear within the soundtrack. It was quite hard to manage so many instruments and I really hope that my arrangements were handled well.

I probably never have put so much effort into a soundtrack before. Not only the composing, but studying the different music styles and instruments they use. I tried to make it sound very realistic and close to the different music style.
