I love them lyrics and guitar, but the pace alterations felt a bit... I don't know, unreasonable and slow-pace parts felt too stretched out.
Rerecorded this old one! Lyrics:
I'm eating Ramen out of a tube
Watching Saturday morning toons
Sunday late in the afternoon
In space I'm ahead of you
A couple minutes away from the Moon
My vessel for the
Trip out into the dark
I can't wait until I embark
A starry love on my mark
Five seconds to layover
I never had a simulator
Leaves me to wonder
Will it fly or fail
Soaring past gas giants
Gliding on the Milkyway
Darting toward aurora K
Feeding off the lack of days
There's no trouble
Nor passion love or hate
No crime or death
Just silent sleep
Gas up the boosters on the dark side and exit orbit
Maintain trajectory
Soaring past rings tenfold
Gliding on Andromeda
Darting toward our solar spread
Feeding off the sun baked bread
Earthlings starve to death
Spacemen with bellies full are
Impervious,
Enlightened, I have found
Home you dare name
Hell is not my home
If hell is home and home is there then I'm far from hell but
If home is hell and home is here I'm home and I'm in hell
If hell is here and home is not then I'm not at home
Oh god I'm damning myself out here radio control before i leave orbit, help help help help!
Flung right through gassy plains
Dragged along the asteroid belt
Stumbling off the stardust path
Starving for a guest alive
Been told I'm a loon
A bitter buffoon
Was gone by noon
Been told I'm a loon
A bitter buffoon
I can't remember noon
I'm dyin, I'm dyin, oh
To pilot my moon

I like the heavy guitars at the beginning. Catchy riffs, and really loud, crisp mastering. I also really like the dreamy synth riff at :37. The vocal layering is great. I like the tone of your voice, too. Sounds like you're a child playing out his fantasy. The structure of the track almost reminds me of a musical, because it's just itching for some visuals to accompany it. I also love the contrast between the legato vocal phrases and frantic guitar riffs. I really like how the cymbals kinda pulse back and forth in the mix at around 3:30, and the darker-sounding mid-section starting at 4:00-ish was great! The "radio" section at 5:10 was a great thematic touch. I also love how it comes full-circle with the structure of the vocal phrases by "been told I'm a loon." The ending was just haunting. I'm tempted to critique the lack of cohesion in a way, but the storytelling in this piece is just phenomenal. Fantastic work, Kor-Rune! Is there anywhere I can download this?
