clean sounding tune bass sounded great, chilled me out after trying to make a metal song for the last 5 hours lol, nice work followed
So I know this was supposed to get a release on March 2nd but hey I got busy and it's life. I've been having a hard week actually, a lot has happened, did things I wasn't supposed to do but I still breathing. Taking deep breathes and hoping I move on with time. Anyways enough about my sad pathetic life. Here's Drifter, a brand new clean track to add to the portal. My inspiration for this one came from listening to some future funk so I know it isn't exactly funk but I don't really know what it is so funk or electronic would be a good genre to list this as. Well I hope you all like my new song. Remember to Rate, Review, and for more music follow my page.

Thank you and I'm glad that it helped you relax. Although I do understand that you were brought here from the "Review for Review" Thread. I'm happy for the review but as some tips and advice from one fellow Newgrounder to another, try to improve on your criticism on others work. Reviews should be at least a Paragraph long with a lot of detail of what the track needs or if there is nothing needed at all. Listen to someones work first then go back and fourth to specific parts of the song you can critic on. The more detail you put into criticizing someone's work the more they will understand on what to improve. This is also a good way to show not only your support for others but it's also a good way to build reputation for giving advice and tips on someones work in the future. Thank you for the review but also I hope you practice on reviewing others work.
Very well done. The bass and kick drum both do their job really well, and you have a talent for getting that thump out of them. As for the melody and chord progression, the first half comes on a bit harsh and unfiltered. I would suggest a bit more EQing on those instruments. Second half was splendid though. All I have for that part is to muffle the claps a bit more or to even replace them with something less intense for an otherwise calm and peaceful section. More specifically, 2:35 to 3:38. 4/5
Thank you for taking time to review me! I'm glad you like the song. I can see what you mean about the clap ongoing 2:35. It is a peaceful calm song so there is definitely room for improvement. Thank you!
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
