When I heard about the NGUAC I was so excited to participate but through recent events it has been a difficult time for me. On August 21st I was assaulted by a guy who was against all things LGBTQ. Unpleasant slurs and a concussion had left me badly injured during that time. I wanted to finish something I had been working hard on but I couldn't do much since I was bed ridden. I had become depressed and nearly lost my confidence in myself but also in my music. I wanted to make a song to reflect those feelings and in the end I wasn't able to fully express them. I unfortunately am pained to find out that I am late on my submissions for the NGUAC and I am willing to accept the penalties that come with it.

This song speaks of spirits, those who dwell within a sound mind and a sound body. Where the perception of what we see is altered by our very minds. These are but difficult times and the reflection can easily be seen as either the death of something strange or the birth of something new. A piece to remember that we are each connected to each other in strange ways and that we are all equal in many ways, we are kindred spirits. With as much feelings as possible I present my late submission for the NGUAC " Spirits ". It is far from complete and requires much more, however I'm afraid it is rather too late and I cannot turn back time to finish more of it.

For those of you who are reading this I don't expect this to make it towards the next round of the NGUAC nor do I see a chance of probability, however, I still hope that the judges, participants, and the Newgrounds community allows for a moment of their time to have a listen to this beautiful composition.

The truth is I'm not after winnings, prizes, or even money. My dream is to become a passionate soul who shares amazing melodic music with the world. I love what I do and I want to do better and perhaps one day be someone greater. To challenge the world and my talents to achieve greater heights. I want to share my passion with the world. So please allow yourself to lay back, relax, and enjoy some fine tunes.
