I'd credit George Lucas for a couple sound bites but I'm afraid Disney would send assassins to have me killed.

I love the feeling of space in the drop and the melody that's focused in the right ear, really reminds me of some of the sounds and musical ideas in the new DOOM soundtrack. I also adore all of the broken sounding synths dipping in and out during the drops and the dissonant harmony that occasionally slips into the main piano part, that slightly harsher edge harmonically is something I always really like in music, Great job!

Quarl responds:

Much thanks elf :D

Aww why do you hate writing music? :< I know it's hard but a lot of your tracks (including this) are insanely great 0: Don't put yourself down, that's my thing XD

Quarl responds:

lol, thanks for all the kind words. The problem is that I've been writing electronic music for over a decade. I can look back to 2008 and name songs I still enjoy listening to. Nowadays, I have a hard time remembering the names of songs I'm currently working on. I have a hard time living up to my own expectations any more so I just shoulder shrug the entire process and hope I can make something I like before the end of the year. Given how much stress I get from writing music and how much more I enjoy my actual job, it just feels like writing music is a personality crisis. I don't enjoy it anymore.

The good news is that there are plenty of artists out there that are active and passionate while I can be as obscure as I want. I can name a song "sausage fingers" and no one will tell me not to. I'm not even going to double check with google to make sure it's not already copy written, sausage fingers is my jam.

daaamn, this is so spontaneous and delicious.

I think a big chord section could have been a nice climax, but to each their own. Keep killing it ;)

Quarl responds:

I hear you on the ending. I kept thinking it was kind of empty, glad you noticed that. It's good to know I wasn't wrong :)

This is really amazing.

Quarl responds:
