I wanted to try creating a drum and bass song that got a lot of its inspiration from some psy trance songs. Basically, there is a large number of layers that together create a rather complex atmosphere but at the same time the song has drum and bass characteristics.
This song didn't necessarily turn out the way I wanted and I think it contains to some extent a bit too much stuff, making it sound a bit messy. Therefore I wanted to make another version of this song, Dark Io, that somewhat abandons the original idea of having a lot stuff going on and having a lot of layers.
