Third time's the charm, right? I've attempted to remix this song twice in the past, both with Goukisan's permission, and now I'm back and taking a third swing at it! I went off of his "Guitar Vs. Piano 1.2" for this, and I also wanted to improve on my last attempt of this song, improving it vastly and making it overall heavier than I have ever done before! Goukisan, this one's for you! I hope it lives up to your expectations!
Instead of FL Slayer, I used a combination of Prominy's V-Metal and SR5 Bass plugins for Kontakt Player 5, as well as the drums I've been using for a while. For the strings, I used Plogue's sforzando plugin (in combination with SCC Expressive Strings), and for the piano, I wanted a touch of the original, so I used FL Keys. I hope you guys like this one!

The last time I listened to Guitar vs. Piano was ~15 years ago. I'd nearly forgotten all about it, I even forgot the name of the song lol. But recently I had an urge to find "that one amazing NG song from my childhood". All I could remember was that it had something to do with "battle" and "pianos" or something, so I tried to narrow down the submission date based on the time period I listened to it in. I can't believe I actually managed to track it down again, cuz this is a classic. And your rendition of it is the best to date. (admittedly not that hard in this day and age due to deprecated VSTs, but nonetheless still warrants a ton of merit)
Sticking to FL Keys was a critically good move, cuz that VST is practically what MAKES this song what it is. Thank you for helping me bring back so many memories. <3
Love this one.
Man this is legitimately epic!
Sounds good! Brings back memories.
Forgive me for the very late reply, but thank you, man! I wanted to outdo the last two attempts I made at covering this song, and I think I did!
