Garden Party! Feat Stuart

This was recorded and arranged by Stuart (Maxxpump), this morning, he project files around and I gave it a bit of a remix. Stuart recorded this on a combination of the Roland FR-7 digital accordion and on his Weiltmeister Diana 120 bass accordion. He did all vocals and his vocal really suits it. This is what is called a "round" which is a tune which repeats itself but speeds up throughout the song. This was made and mixed down in Cubase 9 and mastered in Wavelab.

Stuart (Accordions, piano, synthesiser and composition),
Dan (me (production, mixing and mastering, plus additional brass keyboard playing).

This is the special Newgrounds version, with added accordion layering. You can listen to the other mix on Youtube here:

Very danceable track, nice beat, and nice flow. I like the tempo shift throughout the song, it's very subtle, but towards the song it's quite noticeable! I'm also loving the piano, brass and that other synth sax or so sound. So you did it with the FR-7 which is a pretty cool piece of kit, whens that due back to the shop (how long you rent it for and how much they charge you for privilege, bet it was a bit pricey cause FR-7's go for around 5K? One of the most expensive instruments that Roland has its product line! apart from faux digital grands!

Stu said it was £500 deposit and around £200 for the week! hes rented it for a week and a half. Yeah that was meant to be saxophone but stuarts having problems with the 32bit version of DVS saxophone which he usually uses for this purpose!

Just got home and found this on your channel, mix is good, master needs a bit of excitement possibly, but it sounds really good. I tell you this now my favourite accordion piece, when before it was "Chamberlain" which I still love but this an amazing live tune, just get the song out of my head! I didn't tell you but this song came to me in a dream and I dream't that I had mapped it into cubase, then woke up and thank god my computer had failed to shut, because managed to get the core down, into cubase and then reviewed it a few hours later, around nine o'clock and recorded the Roland in. I'm really happy with how this gone down and particularly care if flops on here or not because the original already got a hundred plays on Soundcloud and this is definitely going to be a very good live piece!

fireball01e responds:

Bad news looks like zero stared all your work again, which is a shame as this was a really good track!
