Once upon a time I did a demo for Ultramartyr's Lunar Festival. It sat around on my PC for a year or two, but a couple days ago I asked him if he'd mind me doing a wacky remix. Fast-forward a day or two and here we are. Mix is nowhere near perfect but it started crashing so I figured I better mop up and post before I tried to save and lost half a file.

Since Tony didn't have any stems, I just remixed and remade the whole shebang by hand. Might be some EQ issues in the sub-bass. Let me know. :P

Software: Mixcraft 7, Kontakt drums/guitars, Nexus and Massive keys.

This brought me to tears. I'm in love with this song already. It sounds like it can go with any form of media. Be it anime, video games, or an action movie. Great, great song. By FAR my favorite.

ADR3-N responds:

Thanks! Glad you like it. I have a few more in store and am still working on getting together some more tunes for you. If you have any midi files or are able to export projects to midi, that'd help me get a little more done. You've got some great key parts going on that I'm having trouble with.

This one is definitely one of my favorites that you've made. I love it, it gives me a little hint of nostalgia from my junior high years when I listened to nothing but metal. Fantastic

ADR3-N responds:

radical. it makes me wanna remix your remix and do all the crazy shit you do with synth on my guitar. it's hard to believe you did this all by ear, really impressive. James says "i can actually hear myself!", referring to what you did with the low end. all in all very solid. thanks for thinking our track was good enough for a remix ^_^

ADR3-N responds:

Glad you liked it! Figured a kick-ass song warranted the effort. And feel free to lay down a remix of my remix. Who knows -- we could go back and forth, each remix more ambitious than the last, lol. Debating fixing up the mix a little more because those guitars are really raw and gain-y on the top end, and I think there's too much 50-200 Hz going on.
