I've really been pushing myself into sounds I'm not comfortable with. I like making orchestral stuff. Strings, flutes, horns, I like messing with that sort of stuff. But I decided to do something new. I've spent a few months with this song. Started it way back in the beginning of May, and spent a lot of time faffing about with it. Particularly trying to get a scratchy, sort of dirty sound from the drums and guitar. It's amazing what you can do with free soundfonts, VSTs, and effect plugins you can find on the internet. Also, I have no clue what genre of music this is. I don't even think it has a genre, really. Meant to be listened to on a loop, like most of my recent music is. Dunno.
