I practiced making more cinematic music, and I came up with this today in Logic Pro X. I used Logic's built-in software instruments, but I'm thinking I might be getting Kontakt 5 pretty soon for better software instruments / plugins. I'm listening to the soundtrack to Hollow Knight and the film music of Hans Zimmer currently, and I would love to try to imitate this type of sound, so I think Kontakt 5 can maybe help me do a better job of that. We'll see...
