This is some sweet stuff I must say, nice work! Also they recently added Synthwave to genres, since you added it to the tags it automatically changed it from New Wav
A song I've been working on for a day or two.
Its based on one of my earlier songs, essentially a remix of my own music. Featuring loads of lovely bass.
My music program of choice only crashed about 8 times when I was working on this song, *sigh*. The first crash was so bad it corrupted my savefile with no chance of extracting any data from the file.
But atleast I hadn't been working for 6 hours on it, oh wait yes I had. I was quite mad, but I made it once, it can be done again but quicker.
So I spent several hours today remaking the work I had already made.
I got hold of several drum samples from 80s synths, so I could make something that sounds like this. I find the 80s style 'toms' very fascinating, that *doof* sound, haha.
I think it was worth the trouble of making this song.
EDIT;
Changed the "genre" to 'New Wave'... dunno if it fits better.
EDIT2;
Newground just got Synthwave as a genre, sweet.

Thanks dude, really appreciate it!
Yeah I just noticed they added Synthwave to the genre list, about time too. This genre has become quite big in the past two years.
I really like the ideas in this song! Idk if I would consider this dubstep, I'd consider it outrun or synthwave, definitely fits within that style. Great ideas and layering, and the drums fit super well. Really well done! :)
Thanks man, and I agree it might not be 'dubstep' but newgrounds doesnt have enough styles to chose between when uploading. The bassline is 'wubbly' so I guess it could be put under dubstep, or chillstep, or electronic music... whatever, thanks for your response anyways.
EDIT;
Changed the "genre" to 'New Wave', it might suit it better...
