After hearing this, I instantly want to collaborate with you one day. First though, I have to practice up on my guitar skills somethin' fierce.
inb4, no autotune/pitching effects have been used on my voice~
So, hey guys!! I've really neglected Newgrounds for a year or so! For that, I apologise. Some of you may (or may not) be pleased to know that I'll be much more active on here in 2016! Not so much a resolution, but I enjoy it here. Somebody recently said to me that time isn't something you have, but something you make. So here goes!
We'll start with something little. This song was my first upload on my YouTube channel and the first song I recorded with my new microphone (that isn't so new, but is still new to me because I haven't used it much)! I'll work on something original to post soon, but in the meantime, please enjoy this.

First of all, I'm exceedingly impressed that you didn't use any sort of pitch correction effects on your voice. The piece sounds quite in tune to me, and you pull off several little ornaments (e.x. :32) really well. I love the reverberant sound and the subtle sense of power here. It's as if you're reciting some sort of spiritual chant. Even in such a short piece, there's a great rise-and-fall to its structure. Also, the high quality of the vocals here is substantiated by an occasional quivering vibrato that perfectly fits the furtive energy of this piece. Well done!
The category -Cinematic song- really fits, i like it, i imagined an intro of a movie all the way through or something, it's very good.
Thank you :-)
Welcome back dude! Missed you and your talent ^_^ My life is less hectic now so I can finally start creating games again. Here's to an awesome 2016 for the both of us! :D
Happy 2016, Hero!
Congrats on the front page, Jordi! It's definitely well deserved. This is great stuff!
