Innocence Lost [Piano Solo]

So I asked around a bit, and some people wanted me to upload the piano only version of this track. I forgot to do it for a while, but I suddenly remembered just now :p
The name I gave the piece myself, before the track was fit for BRUCE, was "The Terrible Truth" (just some trivia).

Not too much to say about this one really. More info here:

It's a lovely tune without our howls too. I think you are one of those people who could take a turd, polish it and it would turn into solid gold smelling like Tinkerbell lilac bushes.

But seriously, in all honesty you are a genius. Let me bring up the one I wasn't to big a fan of. It was still good. My point is you can do great things with just whatever is around you and it shows. Your a visionary and I don't care what anyone else says. You know what your doing and I am glad to have met you :)

LucidShadowDreamer responds:

Why thank you. I decided to upload this separately as well, as a few people asked me to, once I asked them if I should. I think anyone can make something beautiful out of anything, if they set their minds to it. I'm sure you can too ;)

Don't worry about criticising my stuff. I know that some of it is worse at times, and that some is better. And even if I put a lot of work into something, I appreciate criticism if it's warranted, and I don't really take offence, ever. Thanks a lot for the very, very kind words :3

A truly exceptional piano piece, Lucid. The dynamic quality of the music and beautiful mixture of highs and lows, coupled with a tempo that is almost constantly in flux, all make for a truly emotional experience. It simply flows in and out, rising and falling from one progression to the next, and the way you made this transition back to the beginning is no less than flawless.

The previous version is good, but I am well pleased that you decided to upload a version without the ambient effects, as well. I was hoping that you would do so. Thank you for once again sharing the music that resides within the depths of your heart and soul.

LucidShadowDreamer responds:

Thanks a lot, Chrono :3
I almost always tend to make use of both high, middle and low keys when playing the piano, and when composing. It's pretty much automatic at this point XD
Of course, I always play with emotion too. If I ever play mechanically, it's because the mechanical playing best reflects the emotion I want to go through :P

It's great to hear that people appreciate both the version with the cries, as well as the solo version! Thank you for a beautifully written review , and of course, for listening :)
