So I began from a happy go-go village theme, and ended up with... this. It goes from happy to melancholic, empty and just... not what it started with.
That said, I'm fairly happy about how long it is, although it's offset by the unhappiness from the abrupt ending. Instrumentation-wise I began from using purely orchestral stuff, but threw that halfway through.
Overall I don't feel strongly about this one way or the other.
It's worth mentioning it's halfway through may and this is the first piece I've done this year. Man, I've been slacking.
Made with LMMS 1.1.3 using Sonatina Symphonic Orchestra, 4front piano, Lmmasters' sample pack, ZynAddSubFX and 3xOscillator.
Awesome. May you could fill the quiet parts in the middle of the song a bit with some ambience (maybe some reverb or some wind noise). Anyway, excellent use of the Sonatina Orchestra. And again a very cool song showing what kinda cool things LMMS is capable of.

Not what I was expecting when I first started listening. At first, I was in maplestory, chilling in ludibrium, then it got... all real and stuff. Like you shook the nostalgic memories out of my head and forced me to face reality. Then you rewarded me with some happy melodic stuff. And then things got all whimsical and curious. I don't know how I feel now. I'm just confused and not sure if I should be upset or if I should feel enlightened.
