Continuing to develop my sound after the release of the Skyward Reverie Album. Blending more wonky trip-hop drum progressions into dancier beats.

If you like this consider checking out Skyward Reverie on YouTube or on Spotify.

I've now got an official YouTube channel seperate from my main one specifically for music projects if you want to see music videos and follow future releases there too.

Thanks for listening

hey thanks for the reviews, thought id check out your stuff
i really like the atmosphere in this piece, i feel like im out on some journey through some ancient alien ruin all alone trying to figure out what happened to them. yet i am distracted by the strange and beautiful architecture i am surrounded by

PompYin responds:

Cheers for the feedback iLifeMusicDude!

That'd make a great premise for a video, been making a lot of spacey tracks recently, finishing off the album project which has similar themes.

Reminds me of a lot of calmer hip hop these days. Great mixing, and nice little trick on the ears with the background synths moving the beat around (first feeling like the synths are on an offbeat, and later with kick coming in on an offbeat). I really enjoyed this piece!

PompYin responds:

I spend most of my time working within the 120 - 128 range so working at 100bpm is fairly new to me.

Had lots of fun making this so I'll be tempted to work around this tempo more often.

Cheers for all the reviews by the way, It's nice to have a conversation about this stuff.

this is nice was thinking i was listening to hiphop for some reason waiting 4 a beat & maybe a rapper i know not all rap's like that.. normally its just a loop & a basic slow beat.. but this could be used in the back ground for a different type of hiphop[ music !!!...good work its a nice tune to play while doing other things !!!

PompYin responds:

Cheers for the review, SlaughterClub,

I used to listen to a lot of Starkey who'd have these big ethereal synths playing although with harder hitting beats with chunkier bass elements, think I've taken a lot of subconscious inspiration from his work and similar artists.

From memory this was one the better tracks, more chilled out:

Definitely worth checking out.

Cheers again.
