WOWEEE
I wanted to try something a bit different so I wrote this Cinematic song with some electronic and metal mixed together :)
I'm pretty horrible at electronic music so bare with me here! :P
When I wrote this piece I was thinking of this story where a retired assassin decides to avenge his loved ones who were killed by an evil organization, with nothing left to live for but revenge he becomes the "killing machine". (wow, how corny xD)
Hope you like it!
here's a list of everything I used if anyone is interested;
Played and recorded guitar Epiphone Les Paul Custom with EZmix for tone, A-500pro Cakewalk for MIDI controller and Cubase 7 for DAW.
VSTS:
8Dio Basstard (the instrument you hear at the intro)
8Dio Requiem (for the choirs)
Stylus RMX, Superior Drummer 2, Ministry of Rock 2 and Damage (for all the percussion)
Trilian (for Synth bass and electric bass)
Project Alpha & Bravo (mostly for transitions)
Omnisphere (for the synth you hear at 00:54)
Massive (for those evil electronic growls)
Symphobia (for the orchestral strings and brass 02:56)
Voices Of Passion (for the hums at 01:51)
and AEON Rhythmic (for a couple of synths)
WOWEEE
sounds a bit like a dubstep over wise I love it and ill try and do a space engineer's map for it so I hope you keep up this amazing work and possibly relies a photo of said assassin would love to see what hee locks like
Awesome song dude :)
Thanks man :D
How do you get your guitars to sound so natural? The attacks and releases sound flawless as if performed by a live guitarist!
I was actually going to say the above and hit the "submit" button, until I read the description again and it said you recorded them live XD
I guess I only found that sharp synth bass thing a bit weak (not the 8dio one because that was great). But other than, nice composition! Enjoyed it!
Thanks man!
Another excelent work from you my friend. YOU ROCK
Thanks a lot mate :)
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
