Update 3/22/2015: Getting REALLY close to releasing this new track, but I don't feel it's ready just yet. Hoping to make a ton of progress today though!

Why don't you go check out my new facebook page in the meantime! www.facebook.com/stadlermusic

Update 3/10/15: I've hit a temporary roadblock here. More troubles with my computer and it's stalling my music schedule. I'm going to do my best to have the third "Quest" song up by the 21st of this month, though. Hopefully it all works out!

Edit: Soooo I have a brand new website up and running, you should go check it out! Let me know what you think!

Original Post:

Hello all!

This is the prequel to my latest song, "The Quest" !

This was a fun one. I'll leave it up to you to interpret the story!

This one has a more cinematic feel to it, although I had some troubles trying to get the dynamics right. I believe it still needs some work, so feel free to point out where it needs improvement. I think I need a wider range of VSTs for this!

All comments/suggestions are welcome!

Thanks for listening. - Stadler

Remember to "fan" me on NG if you want to follow this series!

Also, if there are any artists out there reading this, I need some work done for my website, logo, etc! I know there's a bazillion talented artists around here on NG. If you're interested, PM me and we'll talk!

This is by far the most amazing piece of music I have ever heard. The atmosphere is amazing, the sounds are just perfect and it flows without any errors whatsoever. You are my favourite music creator, I love all your pieces, but this one is just amazing and nothing could have made it better. Truly amazing!

Stadler responds:

Thank you very much for this! Means a lot. I hope to release a lot more music once my new home studio is set up (which will be really soon).

Thanks again!

- Stadler

Best song I ever heard :)

Stadler responds:

Thank you, I appreciate that!

I decided to check out the song that made Best of Month this month at the top, and I have to say I'm quite pleased! This is a very good track and I enjoyed listening to it a lot!
Great job~! Keep it up!

~Phyrnna ^_^

P.S. +1 follow :P

Stadler responds:

Thanks Phyrnna! I've recently discovered your music too actually, so this is a pleasant surprise! I really appreciate it.

Super. Epic.
This song drew something from inside of me.
Very well done.
The overall sound is absolutely amazing.

Stadler responds:

Thank you, I appreciate that!!!

This sounds really good. Just curious, what type of digital audio workstation are you using? The production quality sounds pristine, and the dynamics are good as well.

Stadler responds:

Cubase 5 and EastWest Orchestra VST. That's all I use to make these!

I've used Cubase for about 9 years now, and it's all I've ever used, so I'm not sure how it compares to some other programs. It's worth checking out, though!

Thanks for listening!
