Hi again Guyz :D.
Just got my hands on the RealGuitar VST by MusicLab, and it's absolutely awesome :D. I was jamming together with some buddies this morning and decided to take some of our improvised melodies and make it into a full track ;).
Was a lot of fun making this and I really hope you guyz enjoy listening to it as well :D.
Constructive critisism is welcome as always :).

Ps. Have no idea what genre this is, so I just put Dance like I always do XD.

This is awesome! Really like the vibe that a guitar brings to such an upbeat song.
Thanks Chemiqals :D. Really glad that you liked it ;). I've wanted to use guitars in my music for a long time, so I'm really glad it ended up sounding good :).
I like the melodys, and although sounds a bit robotic i do like the sound of the acoustic guitar, nice and bright. Theres a couple things in the mix you should check out though, one being the level of the fx/big hits which tend to over power the mix when they come in. Two being the high frequency content which imo is a bit too loud, try referencing it on a laptop speakers and you will see. I like the instruments but for this length of song could of done with some melodic or structural variation in there.
Glad you liked the track :).
I tried to turn down some of the overpowering frequencies of my hits, and i turned down some of the high fq content in the hats. Hope that it's better now.
Agree that there should be more melodic variation in this. I'll keep that in mind for next time :).

Very cool dancing sounds!
I can relate to you very well when it comes to genres decisions x)
Thx VGM :D. Glad you liked the sounding of it ;).
Yea, I always have problems choosing my genres XD.
I'd personally call this some sort of house. 120-130 bpm, four on the floor kick, catchy hook, it all checks out to me. I like the sub drop with a few of the builds, it adds another sumthin-sumthin to increase tension. Structure-wise I think it's a little flat; a lot of this track sounds like one huge build up to another, with no real satisfying "wow" moment to tie it up. But (as NyxTheShield pointed out) the hats, man. Try lowering your high-end a bit! A neat little mixing/mastering tip that I've heard is to listen to your track on a bunch of different systems (your desktop speakers, headphones, in the car, etc..) and taking note of which frequency bands of your track stand out/are too soft.
But overall, nice job with this one! I can definitely understand the necessity to expand one's instrumental palette, so the guitar doesn't bother me too much.
Thx for the feedback :D.
Understand what you mean about this sounding like one big buildup. Felt like that as well.
Will probably think about adding a "wow" moment for my next track like this.
I turned down some of the higher frequencies abit, so hope it's better now.
Ty for the detailed review :). Great tip listening to the song on different speakers. I'll definetly try that in the future :D.
