I took my guitar out for a ride, but I am still far from a master so the guitartrack just plays a supporting role in this tune. It's housey funky and I hope you get a kick out of it.

Enjoy listening and feedback is as always greatly appreciated!

nice chord and bassline combo, groovy as.
that melody at 1:06 actually works really well too. im not a huge fan on the actual sound you've chosen for the melody though.
guitar is a nice touch aswell.

all the elements work really nicely together, well done. nothing very special here but it definitely sounds good.

Voltus responds:

thanks for the review. the track is based on a really generic formula so nothing too special there ;)

I have to regret I´m so much into house music but I´ll try my best ;) I definitely like the funky bassline and the transition with the riser at about 1 min when the e-piano is really cool. The lead is catchy and everything is well mixed and mastered very clearly in my oppinion (although I´m not a reference here ;). I think that you added the guitar is a big bonus here, although I think the guitar drowns a bit in the mix. I like the part which starts around 2 something with the laid back feeling but the transition into this part could be a bit more smooth. Maybe a drum fill or something could be added before? The end appears to be a bit abrupt for me but I often have the same problem to be honest... Also the guitar bends sometimes sound a bit out of tune during the "outro". I love the triangle by the way ;)

Voltus responds:

the guitarbends are supposed to sound off. I like it it's weird. also the guitar is really just there to add some backgroundfrequencys so it's ok for it to stay in the back sometimes.
anyway thanks for the review!

I enjoyed how clean everything sounds. Everything had its place and all sounds were well balanced.

There were multiple layers I could hear which is great, it really sounds complete. Like it can stand on its own, progression and different variations also supported this.

I liked the overall vibe of the track.

It wasnt a traditional house track (punchy kicks right to the face) which would give off active vibes, this one came at a different approach, a more laidback type of feeling. Creativity/Originality (fusions) is always a major plus in my book.

Nice work dude, making music is easy anybody can do that.

Making "good" music is what matters.

Voltus responds:

Thanks for the praise! Really appreciate the kind words. Worked a lot on this one!

Although there isn't much going on in the intro, I still love it. You did a really nice job with the ride cymbal and clap and also the funky bass. The transition into the electric piano is very nice. You did a nice job with the guitar as well! You kept the song interesting enough for me to keep listening to the end! (i.e. Not being repetitive) Nice job on this one!

Voltus responds:

thanks a lot! glad you enjoyed it ;)
