Hello once again, NG! This is the twenty-second of 26 submissions (or so) that I'll upload this year for a project entitled Project 26: Submission a Week. This project is in collaboration with NG user Chocosoda (check him out!) Each other week in 2011, I'll upload a musical piece for a total of 26.

This one was a request from a couple of years ago, before I'd set out to finish "S-E-P-H-I-R-O-T-H!: Perfect SE." Unlike usual NG requests, this is one I asked for. Shawn (SSJ3-Goku4567) had just put this piece up called "Endless Confrontation" and I thought it was well put together, but it was missing something. I asked him if I could get the .flp so I could play around with it. Unfortunately, the .flp was only half complete (Shawn went through a really nasty data loss from a hard drive crash, so all he had was a backup from an early version), so I spent a bunch of time picking out a good third or so of the piece by ear.

Fast forward two years. Every so often I'd come back to "Endless Confrontation" and play around with it a little more, but I was frustrated with the really shitty sound that guitar soundfonts have. That's when I decided to retranscribe the whole thing in Guitar Pro 6!

You can expect a full version of this track in a couple of months. Choco's excited about recording it, and I need to add some of the other things in FL Studio that Shawn used to make this piece really flourish (like the chimes and the flute). Shawn also sent me the completed .flp, so I will be making changes to this arrangement to do the original more justice.

Because from the first moment it started, you had me GLUED to it! I'm loving the work you did on this, and I'm very, VERY impressed! I hope to hear the full version soon. If you want, I can give you the complete flp. file. I have it on this computer, so anytime you want it, I'll be more than glad to give it to you!

Again, I'm just awe-struck with this version. It really sounds like something I could fight to! In fact, there are some things I want to use from this version. :D

I totally wanted to add the flutes, chimes and other stuff to this version, but I couldn't sync the .wav from GP6 properly in FL Studio. What I'll likely do in the final is chop up all the stuff I need into individual .wavs and mix the whole thing in Sonar.

In any case, feel free to lift anything you want from my version. I don't have an .flp to hand over, but I CAN get you a .mid that you can simply plug into FL Studio (because Guitar Pro is just awesome like that). I would love the complete .flp if you could send it to me; I know some of my parts are a bit off and I'd like the final to be as true to yours as possible.

Thank you thank you! I don't think Shawn originally wrote it as a medley, but he had so much going on in the piece that I just kinda swiped different sections and ran them. It kinda plays like one, huh?
