Belated NAC Judge Review
It's great for an IDM track, but I wouldn't really call this one uplifting. Besides that, your glitched effects sounded really cool IMO.

The mix is really bad but I really don't care enough to go back and make it sound good. Writers block/ frustration with reason at the moment. I changed the ending on request. Originally I had a little synthesizer playing a tiny note but it was easily mistakable for just a random unintentional blank ending.
A drummer dies and goes to heaven. While he is waiting outside the pearly gates, he hears some incredible drumming coming from within heaven. He immediately recognizes the playing, and asks St. Peter if it's Buddy Rich playing drums. St. Peter responds: "No, that's God. He just thinks he's Buddy Rich."
Edit: Alright, I changed the name of the song. Fat Cish just wasn't cutting it anymore.

Pretty Good....Piano Too loud imo....but I still like it!
mur, piano too loud :p
Its quite rather excellently swell
elements and glitches are great, lot of idm skills present here, piano melodies sound kinda random to me though, i'd work on those. some small melodic parts were genius though.

The first thing I hear is the piano and it sounds really forced, a little more humanization could've gone a far way with control over volume and general settings. It sounds really dry and rough around the edges. I think especially for a genre that's supposed to be uplifting.
This might just be me, but it's all too loud and screechy at some points - and I am not feeling uplifted or heavenly by this at all. xD
Especially at 0:54 you've got a bad mesh of sounds that don't match, and still not a fan of the high pitch squeels. XD I read that you are aware of the mixing and that you have writer's block problems, so I'm probably not saying anything you don't already know.
I can still tell you put effort into though though, so don't feel too bad!
5/5!
6/10!
what dreams may come. thanks for the kind feed back :p

Cat Fish : Cory MacNiven (Quarl)
This has a very messy and experimental feel to it. In its own category I think this would be very successful, however I find very little of this song uplifting. Rather it is confusing and has themes that are unresolved and presents more minor feelings than major. Your talent is obvious and your time and effort are not wasted, but as far as this contest goes, I feel that this piece was not meeting the criteria.
