JAMUARY DAY 24, almost at the end of this monstrous music month. There are some horrifyingly wrong notes going on up in this but I don't care. I'm almost free from Jamuary's curse, hallelujah :'D
Another old WIP I never finished, I have so many of these WIPs just sitting around. It's been a good month for finishing old stuff I guess? Original title was going to be "Situations" but I have to keep referencing this Don't Give Up theme. There is a very small kidnapping sub-plot in my Jamuary song titles and it needs a wholesome resolution before the end of the month.

You'll just have to tune in next week to know how this dramatic kidnapping sub plot ends...
that snare has some juice
A crunchy little snare layer. Sometimes glitchy synth sounds can be exported for samples and used as layers in drums :3
I'm not opening FL Studio for at least a month after this challenge lmao.
I'm a Jazz listener so I don't hear any wrong notes, as a matter of fact I welcome them lol.
it's got a nice happy vibe to it, I like it :)
I see you've also come across Thelonius Monk's "ain't no wrong notes" philosophy. I try hard to add a human element or groove and "wrong notes" or slightly off timing is a great way to make a song more human imo. It's hit or miss but I like to think of "wrong notes" as just phrases and segments where I wasn't satisfied with certain melodic resolutions :D
