indeed your song empathizes with a fallen hero or a martyr. personally, i don't see someone leaving a village. i see someone falling to their knees with despair and grief overcoming them. great job on this one.

This could be used in a flash. Either as an intro or in the ending credits.
I imagine a small boy(what clichee) or a small girl that grows up living with his/her sickly old grandpa. Years pass and he/she grows up to become strong and sick of living an easy life. The lust for adventuer takes hold and he/she leave the village.
Or some kind of thing like that.
