I just feel like there could be more variety, in both the sounds and textures used as well as melodies. There's really just one growl you stick with throughout the whole track and it seemingly repeats itself throughout the entire piece.
My first neuro dnb tune, this is inspired by my kind of staleness in genres as of late, hence a recheck, lol.

yeah haha it was my first time trying the genre so i didn't (and still don't) know exactly what i was doing, but yeah i can say that was intentional though as i wanted to keep mostly the same sounds but different arrangement all around, ofc it could've been more interesting but that is why i invite you to check out the second neuro song i've made which was right after this at https://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/1356640 , i tried to fix everything i could about this song in that one basically
Coming here from the review for review thread... I'm not sure how to review this! It's already pretty amazing! When I listened, I couldn't really find anything to criticize! I definitely love the drums and bass, and the loudness is really good! I still haven't learned how to do that. If I had to suggest anything, I would add a little more variety to the energy of the track, as there's not much variation in the song. Great job!
Edit: yeah loudness. My song previously always were like -18 LUFs
what do you mean with how to do that? if its the drums and the bass then its really only trying a lot until something sticks and using that as a base for future projects (like i did here), as of loudness i really don't reccomend you push for loudness as i personally have banged my head on the wall so many times by my mixes being ruined by it, so it really is something that you should hone in with patience (i am speaking as if i have worlds of experience but really im just saying to do better than me lmao), thank you a lot for your review, i really appreciate it!
I like the ominous atmosphere and grouchy bass at the beginning. The bass is a little loud relative to the drums, but the rhythmic content and huge jumps in the bass line’s contour are really creative and fun. The mix is a bit distorted at times - especially at :55, you can tell some of the pads and atmospheric details are ducking under when other instruments play a note. The piece also peters out in energy a bit as it goes on, and with the constant frantic beats, an atmospheric or melodic breakdown at some point might’ve made for some good variety. That said, I really like the sound design, mood, and catchy beats here. Keep at it, Kz-N! ^_^

Good luck in the Guac’, but I don’t know how this won’t get through! I’ll be against you actually, and I’m pretty scared against this kinda quality!
