This turned out real nice. I feel like you should dive back into this sort of sound another time. You still retain your signature sound, but that crunchy retro instrumentation really adds a new sort of element to it too. I think it's pretty neat.

JAMUARY DAY 23, Pixel Day 2022
Technically this isn't "true" chiptune. Last year I learned that if I apply digital distortion to my drum kits I can sort of fake it? I tried keeping synth patches true to a chiptune sound. Chiptune really isn't one of my strong things but I couldn't waltz through Jamuary without at least trying to get something pseudo Pixel related on the 23rd. So here it is, phony chiptune music. I fully expect someone to come out of the blue today like "GET YOUR HIGH DEFINITION DRUM PATCHES OUT OF OUR PIXEL WATER YOU DEGENERATE MUSIC NAZI D:<"
Is stereo panning even a thing in chiptune music? I really have no clue. It's a good thing Snaresworks is doing an intro to chiptune music on the 30th right before my winter-fest panel. Probably a good idea to tune into that...

I love chiptune, maybe next month instead of writing a song a day I'll focus on learning Fami-Tracker or whatever workstation Snaresworks ends up teaching on their Winterfest panel. It couldn't have been coincidence that the person my panel follows is doing an introduction to Chiptune music...
I love the flow of this it's complex yet simple and arranged in a lovely way and never calms down I love this x
I was loving all the cool jazzy chiptune music on Pixelday. I really have no idea how to approach the genre from the perspective of a DAW like Reason. I'm glad you enjoyed yourself :3
banging my head to this
i just bitcrush the drums when i make chiptune lmao, also snareworks has some amazing stuff, hes so underrated
I'm glad to have a digital distortion homie. Glad I'm not the only one :p
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
