Well here it is, at long last! The version you've all heard in Sonic Legacy's opening issue of the voiced over comic series (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4x5nTrSWCbQ)! Be sure you've read the comic series here - https://soniclegacyonline.com/ - where you'll find all the written digital-back copies of the comic, as well as the voicedub itself at the bottom. Or, just stay tuned to the project leader's Newgrounds account (https://celestorion.newgrounds.com/) as the dub will be right here on Newgrounds very shortly! Don't forget to check out Sonic Legacy's twitter for project updates and fun times (https://twitter.com/sonic_legacy)
Not much more to say since I posted the partial track a few years ago (https://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/866782). This version will include the following, AS WELL as the parts heard in the voicedub itself! This was when the concept of "Mickey-Mousing" was brand new to me, the act of shaping the music to react with the action scenes and what was going on in the dub. Some things were adjusted from what was originally planned, but the video editor did a wonderful job making everything flow, and timed perfectly. I still remember how much fun it was utilizing beach-sounding instruments such as the steel drums and Hawaiian guitars, which are more prominent in this version, or at least the first half.
So why post this copy here instead of just updating the original link? Well, a lot of the Sonic Legacy community as well as my own fans have stated how many memories they've stacked up with the previous version already, as its been over two years since that version has come out. I would like to think of this as somewhat of a "bonus track" ordeal, some artists I've listened to will have different versions of the same song released as its own single, remasters, remakes, and remixes, all as its own thing. This way, everyone whose ever heard/still wants the previous version can have it, especially at this point.
I hope you all enjoy, once and for all, the FULL version of my Sunset Heights remix! Thank you for listening, and stay tuned for much, MUCH more!
