The story and music go together so well. You could almost know the story by listening to the music alone. Great work!
Seventeen years after the end of the Sea War, when the Oceanic Union surrendered to the Bansheish Empire at the Battle of Coral, a dangerous crew of pirates made up of both humans and sea people rose to power in the oceans between Destania and Mountainia. They were called the Dual Cutlass, and their goal was to revive the Union by bringing prosperity to all the sea people who were victims of the war. To do so, they raided Bansheish ships and distributed the goods from those ships to all the people of Moluma, the last surviving state of the Oceanic Union. Many feared that the actions of this crew would start another naval war, but these pirates had no fear. The cruelty of the Bansheish only fueled the Cutlass' anger and determination for triumph. As a result, they began waving a black banner on all of their ships, a symbol depicting the promise that they would never again show mercy in battle.

I wanted to take a bit more of a progressive approach with this track. I think it turned out well! Enjoy!

Thank you! I'm glad to hear that!
I love this type of concepts. Awesome work!!!
Thanks so much!
This is really awesome dude! The music fits perfectly with the story you tell. The only thing I can say about the mix is to bring up the rhythm guitars a bit. The leads are dope man! Keep rockin! \m/
Thank you! I can sort of see where the rhythm gets overwhelmed a bit much. Glad you pointed that out!
I really like your stuff and I've noticed you add a story to all the audio tracks I've seen which I also really enjoy!
the more progressive's style suits you I think :D
the music and the story telling reminds me of Ayreon ❤
also I wanted to ask, do you always incorporate a story into your music making?
I'm also very curious as to which comes first, the story or the music. or do they arrive simultaneously influencing each other in the processes?
I didn’t used to, but I’ve been adding stories to my songs ever since I started this album. It helps a lot with the naming process and its great when deciding the direction I want to take the music.
Lots of the stories were ideas I already had before I wrote the songs, I just didn’t know how I wanted to execute them until now. Some of them take place in the same universe, and they may end up crossing paths at some point. Also, a few of these may even get sequel tracks!
This is awesome! Total Rogue Legacy vibes!
Yeah, I can hear the similarities for sure! Glad you like it!
