Really nice!
(Uploading this earlier than usual bc I'm gonna be busy in the next few days so I don't know if I'll have a chance to upload on the official release day.)
So, I decided to try something new on this track and make some synthwave for a change, but putting a unique spin on it by making it something of a synthwave/cinematic fusion. Originally, this piece was intended to be a purely orchestral song, inspired much by the "Transformers: Prime" theme song composed by Brian Tyler, but I decided my piece resembled his a little too much for my liking the way it was, so to distinguish it a bit more, I decided to change it to be primarily synthwave, but retaining some cinematic orchestral elements by keeping the cellos, drums and choir from my original version of this piece.
Anyway, this piece was actually composed to be the theme song to the DnD campaign I'm presently writing (yes, I'm one of those nerds), which I intended to provide with a whole soundtrack (only the most important songs on it would be actually composed by me though, such as the hero theme and final boss theme) to give the game more immersion. I'd attempted to make a number of pieces as themes for it, but none of the other ideas had as epic a feel to it as this (to be fair, this was the one that drew inspiration from who IMO is one of the best modern film composers). Overall, very enjoyable for me to make, and I hope you like it too! :D
Really nice!
Thank you! :D
HEY!! I LOVE DND!!!!! (nerds rule) Im making a campaign too xD but no song yet (just the art of a character I made long ago called "Merwin" for another campaign)
