Say what you will about Vivziepop's "Hazbin Hotel", but I personally loved it, and honestly have been wanting to remix a song in it or related to it from the moment I finished watching the pilot. However, most of the songs there just don't translate well to the kind of music I make. Could you imagine trying to turn "Inside Every Demon Is A Rainbow" into a progressive house track?

That said, when this song came to my attention via the music video for it that Vivziepop released on their channel, I knew I had to remix it, between A) it's a great song that translates into EDM very well, but also B) Angel Dust, the main character associated with this song (also the character whose silhouette appears in this art...didn't want to show more than a silhouette because of the nature of the character, especially with respect to his depiction in the music video to the original song), is one of my BF's favorite characters in the series, second only to Alastor.

Now, though I had kinda wanted to, I couldn't turn this into progressive house, because that'd just be awfully repetitive coming right on the heels of another progressive house remix (the "Kiss of Death" remix). So I decided to do something else I've been meaning to do for a while: electro house. More specifically, I was taking inspiration from DJVI's track "Cosmic Growl" (still one of my favorite electro house songs), and am honestly very satisfied with how my work came out, following the tips I picked up from DJVI, as well as Arcade (yep, even after he absolutely shredded the production of my track "Magic", I still think he's a worthwhile source to go to). All around, this was a fun track to make, and I hope you enjoy listening!
