This is a great Track dawg
2010
Not quite sure how I managed to make any music during this period as I was completely swept off my feet with working a full time job, 9-6, making websites above a meat market in Farringdon, then a 45 minute commute via bike, eat, then freelance work/get drunk, relax and play Super Mario Galaxy (hard choice)!
At my full time job: I was sick with the sales department landing in jobs for the agency that had undersold the design and development time, but had instead pushed the money elsewhere. Up their noses, more like.
This was made using just a turntable and a few records. The records are dug from my aunt's collection before she threw them out. She had a lot of field recordings around coastlines, this being sampled from a Cornish coastline LP published in the late 60s. I sample this record a lot, it's where I grew up and I have a weird connection to that record and I keep finding new things to sample all the time from it. Oh and Star Wars too (the Top Of The Pops disco version though)!
This is a great Track dawg
Huge love to you <3
