Pretty scarey
I bought a Zoom field recorder recently and now I can make my own soundscape recordings for future releases!
Today during class the teacher wanted us to go outside and create something that represents a bleak future using the snow outside as a starting point.
I grabbed my Zoom and recorded all possible interactions with snow and also the construction workers that were unloading their van. The distorted voice you're hearing is actually a construction worker greeting me saying "Goedendag!" (Good day!)
I had quickly assembled something together and presented it during class, it was more something I made in the moment itself in a technical sense than it having a specific meaning.
After class, I expanded the song and added the analog pad which I think really added the tone of the soundscape.
This is the first time I made an actual soundscape using self-recorded footage, it's not necessarily supposed to be anything, just a test of the footage and the distortion of it.
Pretty scarey
