Just an old thingy from 2019 posted to celebrate Pixel day. I'd make something for it this year but I haven't got the time (and skill) to pull it off. I don't expect to win anything. I also just like Hollow Knight alright...

This is really coolio love the background and the little lamp bugs, some animation is a tad choppy and the Knight's cape looks a bit odd, but honestly not that big of a deal still a very nice piece.

It's weird because the software that I did this with only lets you time each FRAME, not layer, which means that the entire drawing will stand still for the same amount of time and I can't have different assets doing different things independently from each other. I adjusted the timing based on the cloak's movement, as everything else was added at a later time.
seeing all of this stuff is actually inspiring me to try out pixel art

You should try it, it's actually really cool, but a bit hard to pull off initially without some understanding of colors and how they work together to form a piece (This one I just did for fun as an experiment with Pixel Studio on my phone, which is free, so there's not a lot that's stopping you from trying it out!).
