How does one reconcile with an impending fate? Would you try to fight it? Or make the most of what remains?
This one's a sequel to these previous drawings linked below. I started sketching this in December 2023 but procrastinated on finishing it until now. So I guess this is technically my final 2023 drawing? In the middle of 2024!

Love the grey scale, works so well here, gives the whole thing a harsh melancholy tone that's transmitted to the viewer. The rain, too, adds so much atmosphere. And how the film real pictures are opposite, with lighter lines.
The story idea is really cool, too. Brilliant!
