This is my first "cloudscape!" I love painting clouds; the colors and textures are so varied and interesting. I haven't done a lot of backgrounds and that's something I'm trying to improve on. I really like the illustrative, textured feel to this piece. I want to do another cloudscape that is more realistic with more highlights and shadows. Stay tuned for that!
