Zelda and the Spring of Power - Breath of the Wild

Share

FINALLY IT'S DONE ;__________;

I've been working at my other job so often for the past few weeks that I've only been able to chip away at this for 1 or 2 hours at a time late at night. It feels like I started this piece months ago! (right about the time I started Riju's poster)

Anyway there's a couple little game-related easter eggs in this print design;

1. "Princess Zelda" is spelled out in Hylian glyphs at the bottom
2. Zelda's wading through a bunch of Silent Princess flowers, which appear in the game and appear in a few memories related to her.
3. The Shrine of Power (little angel shrine in the background) is seen just behind Zelda.
4. The scene is based on one of the unlocked memories from the game.
5. The entire style / aesthetic is strongly referenced from an Art Nouveau piece by Elisabeth Sonrel (1874-1953), called "Fleurs des Eaux"!

Hope you guys dig the new poster -- I've stared at it for way too long. lol

Very mythical... goes well with the Zelda Ethos...

Love it! She looks so worried and sad, it's very clear she's worrying about her missing powers.

5/5 stars !!!

This is incredible! Love it! The extras are a really nice addition.

I thought this had a very art nouveau look to it. I love that style. To be honest though I love just about everything you've done.
