I've played too much Halo Infinite.

After researching her character I came to the conclusion she was a cold business woman who knows she saves money the more victories she achieves without losses. She never met a human, and now that her ship is destroyed and she's stuck on Zeta Halo, there's an opportunity for her to be redeemed.

Now, her kill count is 35,000+ give or take human combatants, not counting civilians. But I will assume she just never met a human and as such had negative ideas on them from the start. Meeting 1:1 and getting to know somebody by force perhaps being a prisoner, they might pierce her cold exterior and make her rethink her ways.

I splattered this skirmisher with my Banshee instead of my love.
