This is one of many props I'm making for a feature. My approach to this one is like a flower. I had fun making it and the lighting and style is flim noir. That means getting into the design of the shadow shapes.
Very nice, all of the shapes seem to really work together nicely.
I don't know why but I'm just curious about how long this took to make, do you remember?

modeling took about 2 hours because of design decisions. I went to bed and let it render for 7 hours. Soooo, 9 hours total. The original image file is 500MB and rendered in HDR. Too big to upload here so I had to crappify it for upload.
